WELCOME TO THE BALLSTON SPA EDUCATION FOUNDATION

MISSION

Our mission is to support educational enrichment for the students of Ballston Spa. Through grants to educators, we fund projects that are outside the scope of the Ballston Spa Central School District's budget.  Specifically, projects that impact students’ intellectual, emotional, physical, or social development—increasing the depth and/or variety of subjects or some other form of educational benefit.

We like to think of ourselves as the “cherry on top” of what is regularly funded by the District.

We don’t fill holes in school funding; we amplify the education experiences of children.

REQUEST A GRANT

Ballston Spa Education Foundation (BSEF) is a non-profit group supporting the mission of the Ballston Spa Central School District by raising and distributing resources for educational enrichment outside the daily operational needs of the school district. Since its inception in 1996, BSEF has granted nearly $400,000 to fund educationally enriching programs at all levels. Our dedicated group of volunteers, including parents, school board members and teachers, work together

SILENT AUCTION NOW CLOSED - THANK YOU!

The silent auction has now ended. Thank you to all the individuals and businesses that generously donated items and services to the auction. The community support was overwhelming. We hope you enjoyed the thrill of the bid and took home some great items. The Ballston Spa Education Foundation is always accepting monetary donations. The money you give will go directly to a teacher in the form of a grant for enrichment initiatives
