JOIN OUR BOARD
The Ballston Spa Education Foundation offers rewarding volunteer opportunities to get involved in local education as well as the community. The foundation board brings people from all different skill sets and backgrounds together for a common purpose, to grant money to Ballston Spa School district educators to enrich their students’ educational experience. The foundation is a not for profit, so fundraising is our main goal. Coming together with our combined efforts to make a difference in the education of all ages of children is inspiring. GIVE A GIFT / MAKE A DONATION
For the past two decades, the Ballston Spa Education Foundation (BSEF) has distributed funds to educators in an effort to enhance the educational experience of students in grades K-12 throughout the Ballston Spa Central School District, and provide them with resources and experiences they may otherwise not have. The BSEF distributes grants to teacher-inspired projects that are outside the realm of the daily operational needs of the district. Since our inception in 1996, this volunteer-driven, student-focused, community-funded non-profit has awarded nearly $500,000 in grants directly to teachers, supporting a wide array of educational programming.
